Location: South San Francisco, California (Hybrid)
Role Overview
This position is for an application-focused Project Manager to lead the application build activities for a laboratory relocation project. The role involves leading the planning, coordination, and execution of a central laboratory relocation and activation project. This enterprise-wide initiative includes the consolidation of Laboratory Services into a new facility designed to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the laboratory relocation and activation project.
- Manage complex cross-functional efforts involving laboratory operations, IT infrastructure, and system implementation.
- Oversee project scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables.
- Establish project governance, reporting, and risk management processes.
- Direct vendors, engineers, and other project participants to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Manage technology projects using advanced project management methodologies.
- Implement project management processes across cross-functional teams.
- Assemble and lead project teams, developing detailed project plans and resource strategies.
- Communicate effectively with leadership and external partners.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 5 to 7 years of project management experience, with a minimum of 2 years in the healthcare industry. Significant experience with EPIC Beaker and Willow build, implementation, or optimization is required. Experience managing technology-related initiatives and leading teams of technology professionals is also necessary.

Preferred Qualifications
