Pay Range: $15 - $17/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage pre-authorization requests and ensure compliance with medical guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate timely patient care.
- Utilize back office medical platforms and authorization systems effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of authorization processes.
- Provide clerical and administrative support as needed.
- Navigate various computer systems and applications, including Outlook, TEAMS, Word, and Excel.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 1+ year of experience working with back office medical platforms and/or authorization systems.
- 1+ year of experience within the Healthcare Industry, including a Hospital, Physician's Office, or Medical Clinical setting.
- 1+ year of experience with medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT codes, Medicare and/or Medicaid services.
- High School diploma or equivalent (document required).
- Professional experience in a Clerical or Administrative support role.
- Proven ability to quickly learn various computer systems or applications.
- Strong internet connection with a minimum of 30 Mbps download and upload speed (screenshot required).
