Schedule: Monday–Thursday Onsite | Friday Remote
Hours: 40 hours/week
on W2

Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst – Product & Pricing to join a Data & Analytics Product Management team supporting product and pricing data initiatives.

This role will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Data Engineers, Developers, and Architects to gather requirements, define data solutions, support development, and validate data products. The ideal candidate has strong business analysis skills, technical curiosity, and experience working in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from multiple stakeholders.
Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data mappings.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Developers, Architects, and business teams to refine and prioritize the product backlog.
Perform data validation, functional testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Use SQL to investigate data issues, validate requirements, and troubleshoot discrepancies.
Identify requirements gaps, risks, dependencies, assumptions, and potential data quality issues.
Support issue triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
Create and maintain business rules, data definitions, process documentation, and technical specifications.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Support continuous improvement of data products, usability, data quality, and governance practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Data Analyst.
Strong experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical requirements.
Experience in the CPG/FMCG industry .
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Understanding of data management, data structures, and data quality concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong SQL skills for data exploration, testing, and validation.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Databricks, Profisee, or similar tools.
Experience with SQL databases, data warehouses, or cloud data platforms.
Experience with data mapping, data modeling, business rules, and technical specifications.
Knowledge of data governance, metadata, and data quality.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale data, analytics, or data engineering initiatives.
