RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking an IT Service Desk Support Specialist to join their global operations team. This position is ideal for a customer-focused technical professional who enjoys troubleshooting end-user issues, supporting a corporate environment, and working closely with both business users and IT teams. The successful candidate will provide first and second-level technical support while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
* Provide phone and email support for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues
* Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting desktop, laptop, printer, and application-related issues
* Manage user account administration, including password resets and access requests
* Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including Active Directory account management
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate technical issues as needed
* Learn and support internal business applications and systems
* Process remote access and mailbox access requests while adhering to established protocols and approval processes
* Document, track, and manage incidents through the IT ticketing system
* Work collaboratively with internal IT teams to ensure timely issue resolution
* Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required
* Basic technical certification such as A+, Network+, MCP, or equivalent
* 3-5 years of experience providing Level 1 Help Desk or Service Desk support within a corporate IT environment
* Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and Microsoft Office applications
* Experience with Active Directory user administration
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting both Windows 10 and MacOS environments
* Exposure to enterprise IT service management and ticketing systems
* Ability to quickly learn new technologies and business applications
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
