Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Senior Research Associate - Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Tucson, AZ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position supports the Personalized Healthcare Solutions (PHCS) division, a team dedicated to advancing science and healthcare accessibility. As a global leader in in-vitro diagnostics, the group focuses on developing innovative solutions for diagnostic testing, laboratory efficiency, and healthcare digitalization. The role involves hands-on laboratory work to support critical project objectives in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities: - Design experimental plans to support project objectives
- Execute bench experiments, making detailed and general observations and analyzing data
- Prepare technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses
- Maintain complete and accurate records
- Act independently in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
- Identify and implement improvements to work processes and laboratory environment
- Participate in or lead cross-functional technical teams, such as failure investigations
- Work within a team environment, suggesting creative solutions and providing input to project planning
- Establish interfaces across other organizational groups and train others in areas of expertise
- Troubleshoot problems and institute corrective action
- Prepare and present experimental procedures and results in group and project teams
- Monitor work to ensure quality and continuously promote Quality First Time
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree, Life Sciences preferred
- Master's degree acceptable with 1-3 years of relevant experience
- 6-8 years of relevant post-college experience
- Ability to work on extremely complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables
- Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
- Please note: Candidates with a Ph.D will not be considered for this role
Pay range: up to $
38.00 per hour
