Responsibilities:

The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for defining and delivering scalable digital marketing and customer experience solutions with deep expertise across Adobe Experience Cloud.
This role provides hands-on architecture leadership across Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Analytics, Target, Campaign/Journey Optimizer, and related capabilities to enable connected, personalized, and measurable customer experiences.
The architect partners with Digital Marketing, Marketing Technology, Product, UX, Data, Privacy, and Engineering teams to translate marketing objectives and customer journeys into integrated Adobe solutions that are reusable, performant, governed, and scalable across channels.
This role bridges digital marketing strategy and technical execution.
The Senior Solution Architect establishes the target architecture for the Adobe-powered MarTech ecosystem, connecting content, customer data, analytics, experimentation, personalization, and campaign activation while ensuring security, privacy, performance, interoperability, and long-term sustainability.

What You'll Work On:

Design end-to-end Adobe Experience Cloud and digital marketing architectures aligned with marketing objectives, customer journeys, and enterprise technology standards
Lead solution architecture and implementation across Adobe Experience Cloud, with deep expertise in AEM and strong knowledge of AEP, Analytics, Target, Campaign and/or Adobe Journey Optimizer
Architect the content and experience layer in AEM, including reusable components, templates, content models, workflows, Digital Asset Management (DAM), and design-system integration
Architect traditional, headless, and composable AEM solutions integrated with modern front-end technologies and downstream marketing channels
Define scalable integration patterns connecting Adobe platforms with CRM, consent/privacy, customer data, commerce, data platforms, and other enterprise systems using APIs, events, and cloud services
Partner with Digital Marketing, campaign operations, product, UX, data, privacy, and engineering teams from strategy and journey design through implementation and optimization
Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to Adobe implementation teams, including architecture reviews, design decisions, implementation standards, and mentoring
Ensure Adobe and MarTech solutions meet requirements for performance, scalability, security, privacy, consent, accessibility, reliability, and operational support
Drive Adobe engineering best practices, including AEM as a Cloud Service, CI/CD, cloud-native design, observability, automated testing, tagging/data-layer standards, and release governance
Define the end-to-end architecture and roadmap for digital marketing capabilities across content, data, analytics, experimentation, personalization, and omnichannel activation
Design scalable, secure, privacy-aware, and high-performing MarTech ecosystems that enable real-time and batch customer journeys, segmentation, decisioning, and personalization
Create Adobe reference architectures, capability maps, integration patterns, technical standards, and reusable implementation blueprints
Define customer data, identity, audience, and activation patterns across Adobe Experience Platform and connected marketing technologies
Establish architecture for analytics, tagging, experimentation, personalization, and marketing measurement, including governance for data collection and activation
Evaluate Adobe product capabilities, licensing implications, and platform fit to guide build-versus-buy decisions and optimize use of the Adobe ecosystem

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU LL BRING

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of IT experience with significant experience in solution architecture for digital marketing, MarTech, customer experience, or enterprise web platforms
Proven architecture and implementation experience with Adobe Experience Cloud. Deep AEM expertise is required; experience with AEP, Analytics, Target, Campaign and/or Adobe Journey Optimizer is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of digital marketing architecture, customer journeys, personalization, experimentation, campaign activation, content management, and measurement
Hands-on expertise with AEM, including AEM as a Cloud Service, Sites, Assets/DAM, component and template architecture, content modeling, workflows, and integrations
Hands-on experience shaping MarTech strategy and architecture, including customer data/Customer 360, identity and audience activation, consent/privacy, analytics, tagging/data layers, integrations, and APIs
Solid experience designing integrations between Adobe platforms and enterprise systems using APIs, microservices, event-driven patterns, and cloud services
Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and headless/composable experience patterns (React, Angular, or similar)
Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence across marketing, MarTech, engineering, UX, data, privacy, and business teams
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms
Adobe certifications in AEM, Adobe Experience Platform, Analytics, Target, Campaign, Journey Optimizer, or related Experience Cloud solutions
Experience with Adobe Edge Network, Web SDK, Tags, identity, audience, consent, and data collection patterns
Experience with headless CMS, composable architectures, and design systems (for example, Storybook)
Integration experience with platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Veeva, CRM/CDP, consent management, or enterprise data platforms
Experience delivering Adobe/MarTech solutions in Agile and DevOps environments and working with implementation partners or system integrators
