Summary

PowerBI Developer Location: Westlake, TX Duration : 6+ month

-Primary focus: Power BI developer with strong reporting lens and strong snowflake
-Key responsibilities: Migrate reports from OS to Power BI, build semantic models, optimize DAX functions, and determine best placement of calculations (Power BI vs. database)
Prior Candidate Feedback:
Lack of depth on performance tuning: Candidates could not provide specific scenarios where they addressed performance issues in Snowflake or Power BI
Weak scenario-based responses: Unable to elaborate on real-life challenges and solutions when pressed
Limited proactiveness: Missing the proactive, solution-oriented approach demonstrated by working across teams on templates and custom export solutions.
