Detailed Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting mission-critical, high-throughput applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST/SOAP APIs, MySQL, and AWS or other cloud platforms. Experience in application performance tuning, production support, and AI-assisted development is an added advantage. The role involves collaborating with Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to build scalable and high-performing enterprise applications.
Mandatory Skills
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java (Java 17+)
- 5+ years of experience in Spring Boot
- Strong experience with Microservices Architecture
- Experience in REST & SOAP Web Services
- Strong knowledge of MySQL (or other relational databases such as MS SQL Server/Aurora)
- Experience with AWS or any other cloud platform
- Experience in Application Performance Tuning & Optimization
- Experience with Git/SubVersion
- Experience working on production-critical, high-volume transactional systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision
Good to Have
- Experience with Spring MVC and Apache Camel
- Exposure to AI-assisted development
- Experience collaborating with QA, DevOps, and Product teams
- Experience in deployment, configuration management, and technical documentation
