We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead / Senior .NET Software Engineer to join a growing technology team. This is a hands-on role for a seasoned engineer with strong expertise in .NET Core, React, and AWS Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading development teams, driving technical decisions, and delivering scalable enterprise applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to start as a contractor and transition to a full-time employee after approximately six months based on performance and business needs.
Qualifications- 7+ years of hands-on .NET development experience
- Strong experience developing applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
- Experience building modern front-end applications with React.js
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions within AWS Cloud
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices preferred
- Experience with Docker and containerization technologies preferred
- Knowledge of serverless architectures and AWS services such as:
- Lambda
- ECS/EKS
- API Gateway
- S3
- RDS
- CloudWatch
Responsibilities- Serve as a hands-on technical leader while actively contributing to coding, architecture, and solution design.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET Core, React, and AWS.
- Mentor and guide developers through code reviews, technical coaching, and best practices.
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, development practices, and quality assurance processes.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical leadership during critical initiatives.
- Support cloud modernization efforts and AWS adoption strategies.
Location Requirement: Candidates must be willing to work onsite in Winston-Salem, NC, five days per week. Candidates seeking C2C with H1b transfers, 1099 subcontracting, or relocation
