Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Telecom Lead with 10+ years of industry experience to take ownership of a major Voice Mitel migration initiative. This role serves as the primary technical lead driving all Telecom and voice related migration project work.
You will lead an existing telecom team, ensure smooth execution of migration activities, and act as the organization s central technical resource for all telecom modernization efforts. This includes supporting the transition away from analog gateways and ensuring all migration milestones are delivered successfully.
Work Environment
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8am 5pm
Onsite: Required; hybrid potential after ramp-up (3 onsite / 2 remote)

Culture: Independent contributor who collaborates well and leads technically

Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute migration projects for voice telecom systems.
Serve as the technical lead for all Mitel migration activities.
Collaborate closely with telecom team to drive project success.
Support the organization s transition away from analog gateways and into modern cloud-based telecom solutions.
Ensure project milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met across all migration workstreams.
Act as the primary technical resource for telecom systems, integrations, and modernization efforts.
Partner with IT, network engineering, operations, and leadership to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
Maintain clear project documentation, migration plans, and status updates for leadership.
Required Technical Expertise
Deep knowledge of Mitel systems, configurations, and migration execution.
Understanding of Teams voice, integrations, and telecom interoperability.
Legacy voice gateways (Analog Gateways)
Broad experience across enterprise telecom platforms, voice systems, and carrier services.
Proven experience leading complex telecom migration projects end-to-end.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading telecom modernization initiatives in enterprise environments.
Familiarity with UCaaS, SIP, VoIP, and cloud-based voice solutions.
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
