Job Description
Talent Groups is seeking a Sales Compensation Specialist to support commission administration, calculations, reporting, and incentive programs for a large enterprise organization.
This role focuses on sales compensation, Salesforce reporting, Excel, data analysis, and sales operations. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, though strong internship experience may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer and maintain commission and incentive compensation plans
• Calculate commissions based on performance and renewal metrics
• Track employee performance and sales KPIs
• Build and maintain Salesforce reports
• Analyze sales, renewal, and post sales data
• Support contests, SPIFFs, and incentive programs
• Resolve commission questions and maintain accurate documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting and compensation processes
• Work with large datasets while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
• Support increased activity during quarter end
Required Skills
• 1 to 3 years of experience in sales compensation, sales operations, revenue operations, customer success operations, reporting, or a related analytical role
• Hands on Salesforce reporting and analytics experience
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Experience with sales KPIs, performance data, or renewal metrics
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring deadlines
Preferred
• Direct sales or incentive compensation experience
• Experience supporting renewals or post sales teams
• Compensation management software experience
• BI or business intelligence reporting experience
• Experience with contests, SPIFFs, or incentive programs
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
