Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-value, and strategically critical projects, typically ranging from $30M–$70M in scope.
The Senior Project Manager will oversee project planning and execution, financial performance, scheduling, risk management, contracts, vendors, customer relationships, and cross-functional teams. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to influence stakeholders and teams without direct supervisory authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex projects from initiation through successful delivery.
- Develop and manage project scope, schedules, resources, budgets, and deliverables.
- Manage projects valued at approximately $30M–$70M.
- Establish project governance, milestones, dependencies, and execution plans.
- Lead cross-functional project teams and mentor project management professionals.
- Manage customer relationships and executive-level stakeholder communication.
- Monitor project financials, forecasts, expenses, and cost variances.
- Manage vendors, suppliers, contracts, negotiations, and change orders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and potential delays.
- Track critical-path activities and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality and contractual requirements.
- Provide project status, financial, risk, and performance reports to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practices across project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of progressive project management experience.
- PMP certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience managing complex, strategic, cross-functional projects.
- Experience managing $30M–$70M+ projects or comparable large-scale programs.
- Strong project budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial management experience.
- Experience with contract, vendor, and supplier management.
- Strong risk management, problem-solving, and change-management skills.
- Excellent customer, stakeholder, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience leading teams in a matrixed environment without direct reports.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance.
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar.
- Bachelor''s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
Preferred Background
Experience in industrial automation, warehouse automation, material handling, logistics, manufacturing, engineering, systems integration, or other large-scale technical project environments is highly desirable.
