We are seeking a MES Engineer to join our team remotely!
Responsibilities:
- Support and enhance manufacturing technology platforms and applications
- Configure and maintain industrial connectivity solutions and data historians
- Troubleshoot OT data flow, integration, and communication issues
- Partner with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and IT teams to deliver technology solutions
- Implement and support MES, historian, and manufacturing data systems
- Develop technical documentation including process flows, system architecture diagrams, and integration specifications
- Create and support real-time dashboards and manufacturing performance reporting
- Assist with Industry 4.0, smart factory, and digital transformation initiatives
- Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert for manufacturing data platforms
- Support multiple manufacturing facilities and collaborate with global stakeholders
Required Experience
- Strong SQL and database experience
- Experience with industrial data historians (OSI PI)
- Experience with industrial connectivity solutions (Kepware or FactoryTalk)
- Experience integrating manufacturing equipment and data systems
- Understanding of MES, SCADA, or manufacturing execution technologies
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as OPC, OPC UA, MQTT, or Modbus
- Experience troubleshooting data collection, system interfaces, and manufacturing applications
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- PLC integration or industrial controls experience
- OEE and manufacturing performance reporting
- API integrations
- Industry 4.0 initiatives
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
