Description We are seeking a
Marketing Manager or Director with experience in
engineering, construction, architecture, or professional services to lead proposals, presentations, marketing materials, and business development support.
Must have 7+ years of experience in an AEC marketing environment with a focus on RFPs. Must be able to work ideally a 4/1 hybrid work model in Boston but our client is open to 3/2 as well. Salary range is 100-130K depending on experience and qualifications.
This role is ideal for a strong writer and project manager who can turn technical information into clear, client-focused content while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Lead development of proposals, qualifications packages, and client presentations in response to RFQs and RFPs
- Partner with leadership and technical teams to create compelling marketing and business development materials
- Maintain and update project experience, staff resumes, client references, photography, and testimonials
- Manage website, blog, LinkedIn, newsletters, and other social media content
- Maintain CRM and marketing databases, including reporting for proposals and business development activities
- Support advertisements, industry events, lead tracking, and other business development initiatives
Requirements Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or related field
- 5+ years of marketing and/or proposal experience, preferably in engineering, architecture, construction, or professional services
- Strong experience managing proposals from kickoff through final submission
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and project management skills
- Ability to translate technical content into clear, persuasive messaging
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, CRM systems, or proposal databases preferred
