Job Title: Java IBM BPM Developer

Job Description:
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development.
- Expertise in Business Process Management (BPM) platforms and workflow automation.
- Experience with J2EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Understanding of enterprise application design patterns and microservices architecture.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integration services.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging/event-streaming platforms.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies such as Angular or equivalent frameworks.
- Exposure to AI-powered developer productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, Devin, Claude, or similar AI-assisted development platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain BPM-based workflow solutions.
- Develop scalable backend services using Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Integrate BPM applications with enterprise systems and third-party APIs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and application optimization.
- Implement best practices for software development, security, and maintainability.
- Work closely with DevOps, QA, and product teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Evaluate and leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to improve developer productivity and code quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Java application development and BPM implementations.
- Experience developing and deploying enterprise applications in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-Have:
- Kafka-based event-driven architecture experience.
- Angular UI development experience.
- Exposure to Generative AI tools and AI-assisted software development workflows.
