Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master cum Business Analyst to join our dynamic Fraud Technology team. The role will perform Scrum Master duties approximately 60-70 percent of the time and Business Analyst duties approximately 30-40 percent of the time. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile delivery tools and practices and a proven ability to optimize team flow, remove impediments, and deliver business value.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily scrums, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage team dependencies, risks, and impediments to maintain predictable delivery.
- Provide visibility into delivery plans, team progress, and metrics to stakeholders.
- Coach and mentor teams and Product Owners on Agile principles and Scrum practices to promote self-management.
- Facilitate PI planning and support alignment with program-level objectives.
- Perform Business Analyst activities, including requirements elicitation, documentation, and backlog refinement.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, analysts, and Product Owners to ensure clear acceptance criteria and Definition of Done.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of combined experience as a Scrum Master and Business Analyst.
- 4+ years serving as a Scrum Master for multiple teams.
- Hands-on knowledge of Agile ceremonies and processes, including iteration and sprint planning, daily scrums, PI planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Experience leading cross-functional Agile teams comprised of developers, analysts, Product Owners, and testers.
- Proficiency with Agile delivery and collaboration tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, Wikis, and ALM for requirements, SDLC documentation, and issue tracking.
- Demonstrable experience coaching multiple teams on Scrum practices and Agile principles.
Preferred Skills:
- Financial Services or Banking industry experience.
- Experience in Fraud Detection, Prevention, Servicing, or Claims.
- Working knowledge of Agile tools (Jira) and Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
Work Location & Schedule:
- Approved location: Newark, DE. Hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week onsite.
- Target start: September or October.
- Interview process: One in-person interview and Glider ID verification.
