Description
We are looking for a Systems Administrator to support and maintain core IT infrastructure in Deer Park, Illinois. This role focuses on ensuring reliable system performance, managing user access, and providing technical support across a Microsoft-based environment. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with server administration, desktop support, and virtualization technologies while working effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Active Directory services, including user accounts, group policies, and access controls.
Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments to ensure stability, security, and performance.
Provide technical assistance for Windows 10 endpoints, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Manage and support Dell hardware platforms, coordinating maintenance and addressing infrastructure-related concerns.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Citrix environments to maintain secure and efficient user access.
Perform routine system updates, patching, and preventative maintenance across servers and workstations.
Investigate system incidents and implement timely resolutions to minimize downtime and business disruption.
Document system configurations, support procedures, and recurring issues to improve operational consistency.
Requirements
Proven experience administering Active Directory in a business environment.
Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration and support.
Practical experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 systems.
Familiarity with Dell enterprise hardware and related support practices.
Working knowledge of Citrix technologies and virtualized access environments.
Ability to diagnose technical issues methodically and resolve them efficiently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for user support and documentation.
