RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Data Supply Chain Analyst to join their team.
Summary:
This role will focus on understanding, analyzing, and supporting third-party data flowing into the environment with particular emphasis on DTCC/DST data layouts, data exchanges, and processing within a broker/dealer environment.
The ideal candidate will have direct, hands-on experience working with DTCC and/or DST-sourced data and be able to clearly articulate how they interacted with that data in a current or previous role. This could come from a data/technical background or from a strong broker/dealer operations background where the individual regularly worked with DTCC/DST data feeds, files, layouts, or downstream processes.
This individual will bridge the gap between the business, operations, and technology teams by helping understand where third-party data originates, how it is received and processed, how it moves through the organization, and how it is ultimately consumed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze and support third-party data received through DTCC, DST, and other external data providers
* Understand DTCC/DST data layouts, file structures, exchanges, and processing flows
* Trace data from external sources through internal processing and downstream business consumption
* Work with business, broker/dealer operations, and technology teams to understand data requirements and operational workflows
* Analyze incoming data to identify gaps, discrepancies, mapping issues, or processing problems
* Document data flows, field mappings, business rules, data definitions, and upstream/downstream dependencies
* Assist with data mapping and source-to-target analysis associated with third-party data
* Partner with stakeholders to translate operational processes and business requirements into clear data requirements
* Support investigation and root-cause analysis when data does not process or reconcile as expected
REQUIREMENTS:
* Direct professional experience working with DTCC and/or DST data
* Strong understanding of DTCC/DST data layouts, data exchange, feeds/files, and processing
* Must be able to clearly explain how DTCC/DST data was used and processed in a current or previous role
* Experience within broker/dealer, wealth management, financial services operations, or a closely related environment
* Understanding of how third-party data moves between providers, financial institutions, operational systems, and downstream consumers
* Experience performing data analysis, mapping, reconciliation, or researching data/process issues
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to understand and document business rules, data definitions, data mappings, and operational workflows
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work across both business/operations and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience within broker/dealer operations, particularly in a function that regularly consumes or processes DTCC/DST data
* Experience as a Data Analyst, Operations Analyst, Business/Data Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role
* Experience with SQL and data querying/analysis
* Experience with source-to-target mapping, data lineage, data profiling, or data reconciliation
* Wealth management, retirement, brokerage, securities, or investment-industry experience
* Experience supporting enterprise data modernization or data transformation programs
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
