Description:

Supply Chain Forecasting Lead with around 10–15 years of experience, with a strong background in demand forecasting, business process improvement, forecasting solution implementation, and expertise within warranty and supply chain environments.

Experience:

• Hands on experience in understanding and mapping existing forecasting processes, identifying gaps and working with business teams on process improvements and reengineering.
• Strong experience in business requirements gathering, solution analysis, functional design and implementation.
• Good understanding of forecasting approaches and the ability to assess what would work best for different business requirements.
• Experience in working with forecasting tools and solutions such as SAP IBP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, o9, or similar platforms. The expectation is not just tool knowledge, but experience in evaluating, fit gap analysis and implementing forecasting solutions.
• Exposure to AI/ML based forecasting, with experience working alongside data science and technical teams.
• Experience in handling large volumes of transactional data, understanding data dependencies and working with enterprise applications.
• Experience across warranty programs, mobile device protection, and supply chain operations, with exposure to warranty claims management and forecasting.
• Strong experience in pricing, profitability analysis, forecasting strategy, demand planning, and business performance evaluation.
• Proven leadership experience leading forecasting initiatives, driving business transformation, and partnering with senior business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the functional aspects of the forecasting engagement, from initial assessment through solution implementation.
• Work with the customer to agree on the forecasting requirements, process changes and expected outcomes.
• Evaluate solution options and provide functional inputs to the solution design, including data and integration requirements.
• Review and validate the forecasting solution against business scenarios, including the quality and reliability of forecasting outputs.
• Perform gap analysis between the expected and actual forecasting results and recommend process improvements and corrective actions.
• Lead forecasting and planning initiatives supporting warranty programs, mobile device protection services, and supply chain operations.
• Analyze warranty claims data, forecasting trends, operational performance, and profitability metrics to improve business outcomes.
• Partner with business, supply chain, finance, operations, and technology teams to drive forecasting improvements and strategic decision-making.
• Support forecasting processes related to warranty claims, demand planning, pricing strategies, profitability analysis, and operational performance management.
• Provide leadership and guidance throughout forecasting transformation initiatives, solution evaluation, design, implementation, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with data science and technical teams to leverage AI/ML-based forecasting capabilities and improve forecast accuracy.
