Job Title: Tableau Developer

Location: 1201 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD

Job Type: Long Term Contract (W2 / 1099)

Degree Certificates are mandatory to Submit.

The Client is seeking a Tableau Development Specialist to develop and maintain reports and dashboards using tools such as Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep. The candidate will follow the Client's standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Gather requirements for reporting.
Follow the Client's Center of Excellence procedures for projects.
Develop and maintain data models based on Client requirements and needs.
Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards.
Develop and maintain detailed documentation of solutions and instructional procedures.
Attend Client meetings as required.
Provide regular status updates on assigned tasks to the Client supervisor.
Provide after-hours support as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience as a BI Developer.
Experience as a BI Developer or similar role with a strong understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools/software.
Strong understanding of data warehouse, data lakehouse, and data mart concepts.
At least 1 year of experience creating SQL queries.
At least 1 year of experience with Tableau Desktop.
At least 1 year of experience using Tableau Server.
At least 1 year of experience using Tableau Prep.

Preferred

Knowledge of Python programming language.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
Three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
