Detailed Job Description: EBS WMS skills
Oracle WMS (Warehouse Management System) On-Prem Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.x WMS, Inventory, Order Management, WIP, Shipping. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, enhancement, support, integration, and optimization of warehouse processes while bridging business requirements and technical solutions.
Experience
• 8 to 12+ years of Oracle SCM experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS WMS implementation and support.
• Experience in Oracle EBS R12.x environment.
• Experience in production support, enhancements, upgrades, and rollout projects.
Functional Responsibilities
• Analyze business requirements and design Oracle WMS solutions.
• Configure and support:
o Oracle WMS
o Inventory (INV)
o Order Management (OM)
o Shipping Execution (WSH)
o Purchasing (PO)
o Manufacturing (WIP/BOM)
• Support inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse operations.
• Perform SIT, UAT, and user training activities.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and warehouse users.
Technical Responsibilities
• Develop and support
o PL/SQL Packages
o Java Pages / Routines
o Interfaces
o Reports
• Troubleshoot integration issues between Oracle WMS and external systems.
• Work on:
o MSCA (Mobile Supply Chain Applications)
o RF Devices
o Barcode Solutions
o Label Printing Integrations
• Support data migration and conversion activities.
• Perform root cause analysis for preproduction/production incidents.
Integration Experience
Experience in integrating Oracle WMS with:
• 3PL Systems
• Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
• Warehouse Automation Solutions
• Barcode/RF Scanners
• Material Handling Equipment
