Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle CPQ Techno-Functional Consultant to lead the techno-functional design, configuration, testing, integration, and go-live activities for Oracle CPQ across multiple business units as part of a large-scale transformation program.

The ideal candidate will be a strong techno-functional professional who can independently lead discussions with both business and IT stakeholders, understand complex business processes, and translate requirements into scalable and reusable Oracle CPQ solutions.

Experience in industrial manufacturing, oil & gas, oilfield services, or engineered products is highly preferred. Experience with ABO, subscriptions, and renewals is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Oracle CPQ design, configuration, testing, deployment, and go-live activities.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand processes, workflows, requirements, and industry terminology.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical design documents.
• Design scalable and reusable Oracle CPQ (OCPQ) solutions using standard and seeded functionality.
• Provide guidance on CPQ feature combinations and solution architecture.
• Lead client workshops, requirements gathering, walkthroughs, and fit-gap analysis.
• Drive functional decisions and provide techno-functional guidance to business and technical teams.
• Collaborate with integration and enterprise architecture teams to ensure end-to-end solution alignment.
• Support configuration, customization, testing, deployment, cutover, and hypercare.
• Govern offshore development through configuration workbooks, design reviews, and technical guidance.
• Lead SIT/UAT, defect resolution, cutover, and post-production stabilization.
• Ensure quality documentation, solution standards, and reusable frameworks across business-unit rollouts.

Required Technical Skills

• 10+ years of Oracle CPQ / BigMachines / CPQ Cloud experience in techno-functional roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • BML / BMQL
  • Commerce
  • Configuration
  • Document Engine
  • APIs
  • Pricing and discounting
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Oracle CPQ solution architecture.
• Experience with product modeling, including MTS, CTO, ETO, DTO, SBOM, and MBOM.
• Understanding of cost/list pricing, pricing strategies, discounting, and Deal Management.
• Experience with Configuration, Commerce, Pricing, BOM, Document Engine, Guided Selling, ABO, and Subscription capabilities.

Integration Experience

• Experience architecting quote-to-order integrations across enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of integrations with:
  • Oracle EBS
  • JD Edwards (JDE)
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Salesforce
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Proven experience with multi-ERP and CRM integration environments.
