Available Positions
1. Maintenance Worker II – Morehead, KY 40351
Duration: 1 year
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 AM–3:00 PM; schedule may vary
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr.
2. Executive Administrative Assistant – Morehead, KY 40351
Duration: Open-ended
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM; overtime possible
Pay Rate: $14.50–$17.57/hr.
3. Maintenance Worker II – Woodsbend YDC, KY 41472
Duration: 1 year
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $15.00–$18.00/hr.
4. Mechanical Maintenance – Lexington, KY 40511
Duration: Open-ended
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $14.00/hr.
5. Lockmaster I – Frankfort, KY 40601
Duration: 6 months
Work Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 9:45 AM–7:45 PM; Monday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $13.58/hr.
6. Maintenance Worker – Berea, KY 40403
Duration: Open-ended
Work Schedule: 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM–6:30 PM, based on availability
Pay Rate: $8.00–$11.22/hr.
Maintenance Worker II – Responsibilities
- Assist with maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Assist carpenters, electricians, and other skilled trades personnel.
- Paint buildings and structures inside and outside.
- Repair grounds maintenance equipment and tools.
- Assist with equipment repairs, building and grounds upkeep, and preventive maintenance.
- Operate, maintain, and repair equipment and tools.
- Maintain records and attend required meetings and training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: General maintenance, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, equipment repair, preventive maintenance, building/grounds maintenance, and ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.
Executive Administrative Assistant – Responsibilities
- Answer phones and handle incoming calls.
- Open and distribute mail.
- Perform general administrative and office support duties.
- Maintain records and documentation.
- Provide day-to-day administrative assistance as assigned.
Qualifications: Administrative support, telephone/customer service, office operations, communication, organization, and record keeping.
Mechanical Maintenance – Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC maintenance and repair.
- Troubleshoot and maintain heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems.
- Perform basic to intermediate plumbing repairs, leak repairs, pipe fittings, and fixture replacements.
- Assist with electrical repairs, wiring checks, lighting replacements, and troubleshooting.
- Perform general mechanical maintenance, equipment servicing, and minor repairs.
Qualifications: HVAC, plumbing, electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repair, and general mechanical trades support.
Lockmaster I – Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain locks and related equipment.
- Perform mowing and landscaping activities.
- Safely operate tractors, mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, welders, and other mechanical equipment.
- Perform building maintenance duties.
- Maintain records and support program-related administrative activities.
- Manage inventory and supplies and coordinate with vendors.
- Provide general office, technology, and staff support as assigned.
Special Requirement: Must possess and maintain a valid driver''s license.
Maintenance Worker – Berea – Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of buildings and grounds.
- Assist with preventive maintenance.
- Help maintain equipment and complete minor repairs.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Assist with setup for events and exhibits.
- Follow safety, sanitation, security, and accident-prevention procedures.
- Provide professional customer service.
Qualifications: Equipment maintenance, sanitation, safety, accident prevention, customer service, reliability, maturity, self-discipline, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
