This is a full-time, in-office position with typical work hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with an hour lunch. There is no nights or weekends on-call rotation.
Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. You'll support small to mid-sized business environments, both remotely and on-site, handling escalated issues and working closely with the rest of our team to deliver reliable IT solutions.
This client-facing role requires not just technical ability but a service-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively with end users and peers alike.
What You ll Do
- Provide remote and on-site support for Microsoft 365, Windows desktop environments, and general end-user issues
- Troubleshoot and maintain Windows Server environments, firewalls, VPNs, and networking components (e.g., VLANs)
- Execute infrastructure projects such as server migrations, upgrades, and hardware refreshes, including cutover and rollback planning
- Support and maintain backup systems and disaster recovery solutions
- Support line-of-business applications including QuickBooks and client-specific vertical software
- Handle escalations from other technicians and resolve complex infrastructure issues
- Use the ConnectWise suite (Manage, Automate, Control) for service delivery and documentation
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients of all technical backgrounds
- Document work thoroughly and follow internal processes to maintain service consistency
- Collaborate with the internal team to share knowledge and improve processes

Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in IT support, with at least 3 years at an MSP
- Comfortable with PSA, RMM, MDM, and documentation platforms (ConnectWise experience is a plus)
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Windows Server, and networking technologies
- Experience supporting line-of-business applications such as QuickBooks
- Familiarity with virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V) and Apple device

Certifications
- Professional IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus but not required
