Architect Level Experience & On-Perm Power BI specialist who can support our enterprise BI environment.
Key skills needed:
• Deep hands-on Power BI development experience (DAX, Power Query, data modeling).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for dataset refresh issues, gateways, permissions, and performance.
• Ability to support tenants with challenges in implementing Power BI capabilities.
• Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills to lead COE office hours and user education sessions.
• Solid SQL skills and comfort working with technical and business partners.
• Self-starter who can provide guidance, best practices, and help drive Power BI adoption.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years Power BI report/dashboard development experience (DAX, Power Query, modeling, report design).
• Strong troubleshooting experience supporting Enterprise BI environments.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; comfortable leading sessions and office hours.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Power BI Premium and Microsoft Fabric capacities.
• Experience supporting or contributing to a BI Center of Excellence (COE).
• Knowledge of SSRS modernization and migration to Power BI / PBIRS.
• Experience mentoring developers or leading BI training sessions.
• Familiarity with enterprise BI governance, RLS/OLS, and secure data practices.
