eNGINE is hiring a Product Owner who thrives at the intersection of business, technology, and data. You'll help lead the delivery of software and data-driven solutions that empower decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and deliver meaningful outcomes for our pharma and healthcare partners. This role blends product ownership with hands-on delivery leadership, working across data platforms, analytics tools, and enterprise systems in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
What You'll Do:
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, writing user stories and partnering with Business Analysts on refinement and grooming
- Guide the delivery of software and data solutions — including integrations, reporting/analytics tools, and platform enhancements — from concept through release
- Step in as needed to fill PM/Scrum Master functions (facilitating ceremonies, tracking delivery, removing blockers), as the team doesn't currently have a dedicated PM/Scrum Master
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external clients/partners (pharma companies) to align on priorities, scope, and roadmap
- Push back and say no to client requests when it's the right call for the product or the business
- Bring a working understanding of how data platforms, dashboards, and integrations are built — you won't be hands-on technically, but you'll need enough fluency to guide the conversation and ask the right questions
What You Bring:
- A background in pharma or healthcare — required
- Experience spanning most of your career working with data and/or software delivery — required
- A track record delivering technology and data solutions in an agile/scrum environment — things like platform integrations, analytics and reporting tools, data pipelines, or dashboards
- Comfort operating in a hybrid Product Owner/Scrum Master capacity
- Experience with modern data platforms (Databricks is a plus, though not required)
- A confident, assertive style
