The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a premier defense industry corporation to identify a talented leadership professional for a pivotal role overseeing asset compliance and governance within their supply chain organization. Positioned in either Cambridge, MA or Reston, VA under a hybrid working model, this critical position drives standard operating procedures, audit readiness, and comprehensive oversight across regional campuses. Partnering with StaffRight Associates connects you directly to this high-impact opportunity, where your strategic leadership will ensure operational excellence and strict regulatory alignment for mission-critical client initiatives.

What You’ll Do

Lead and empower a high-performing team of asset management specialists across multiple regional facilities to ensure complete operational compliance.
Champion the alignment, execution, and continuous refinement of corporate asset governance procedures and standard operating workflows.
Direct cross-functional initiatives across program management office teams, engineering units, logistics networks, and government representatives.
Execute thorough subcontractor oversight programs, including the end-to-end strategy, coordination, and fulfillment of external audit protocols.
Monitor operational health metrics while systematically auditing internal and external asset relocation directives.
Spearhead all post-performance asset reconciliation, transfer validation, closeout documentation, and identification assignments.
Facilitate administrative extensions for long-term equipment loans and existing hardware cases in full alignment with client requirements.
Drive operational enhancement initiatives, facility training modules, and physical track-and-trace audits across all corporate sites.

What You Bring

Bachelors Degree in Business or a Relevant Field Of Study (or an equivalent blend of functional experience and education).
Active Secret Security Clearance issued by the U.S. Government prior to commencing work.
Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated expertise in Government Property Management, Equipment Tracking, and Material Control.
Minimum of 1 year of direct leadership experience in Supervisory Management within a regulatory asset control environment.
Comprehensive technical mastery of FAR 52.245-1, FAR Part 45, DFARS 245.6, DFARS , and DFARS .
Proven track record navigating DCMA Audits, internal quality reviews, and external compliance evaluations.
Hands-on proficiency with Bar-Code Scanning, Physical Inventories, and RFID Technology.
Demonstrated skill in Process Mapping, Standard Practice Instruction Creation, and Desk Guide Creation.
Industry accreditation as a Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) through the National Property Management Association (NPMA).
Advanced technical fluency in Epicor, equivalent ERP Reporting Tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Exceptional skills in Written Communication, Verbal Communication, Data Analysis, and executive presentation deliverable creation.
Self-directed initiative with proven capabilities in Independent Problem Solving and willingness to travel as required.
