Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer

Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid)

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to support agency in designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise Salesforce applications.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering Salesforce solutions for large-scale government organizations and possess strong expertise in Salesforce development, integrations, and application modernization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce best practices.
Customize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, Flows, and business processes.
Develop integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware technologies.
Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with Salesforce coding standards and security best practices.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, estimation, and solution architecture discussions.
Support data migration, deployment, and release management activities.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, project managers, and stakeholders.
Prepare technical documentation, design documents, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 8+ years of Salesforce development experience.
Mandatory experience working with State or Federal Government clients.
Strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Lightning Experience.
Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Triggers.
Experience developing REST and SOAP APIs and integrating Salesforce with external enterprise applications.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, roles, and governance.
Experience with Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, Approval Processes, and Workflow automation.
Experience with Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, and data migration activities.
Experience with DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Public Sector Solutions (PSS) or Salesforce implementations for government agencies.
Experience with MuleSoft or other middleware integration platforms.
Experience with OmniStudio (Vlocity), Salesforce Shield, or Experience Cloud.
Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification.
Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification.
Salesforce Administrator certification.
PMP or Scrum certification is a plus.
