Summary

Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer

Overview / Summary

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer with experience designing, developing, configuring, and implementing Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Salesforce development, experience building custom applications, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile environment while working independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and implement Salesforce solutions.
  • Build Salesforce-based custom applications to meet business needs.
  • Develop public-facing data collection forms using Salesforce Experience Cloud.
  • Extract data from external applications, convert it into Salesforce-compliant data structures, and import data into Salesforce.
  • Manage Salesforce DevOps processes, including promoting code through DEV, QAT, and PRD environments.
  • Develop solutions using Lightning Web Components, Flows, and custom Apex.
  • Build custom applications, objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other intermediate-complexity Salesforce components.
  • Create, manage, and debug Apex triggers and SOQL queries.
  • Resolve data and processing issues.
  • Support integrations between Salesforce and internal and external partner systems.
  • Apply Salesforce security models, including permission sets and profiles for user authorization.
  • Follow Salesforce best practices and functionality standards.
  • Deliver technical solutions within an Agile project management environment.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 5+ years of experience developing, configuring, designing, and implementing Salesforce solutions.
  • Experience building Salesforce-based custom applications.
  • Experience building public-facing data collection forms using Salesforce Experience Cloud.
  • Experience with data conversion, including extracting, transforming, and importing data into Salesforce.
  • Experience managing Salesforce DevOps and promoting code across development environments.
  • Experience developing with Lightning Web Components, Flows, and custom Apex.
  • Experience building custom applications, custom objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and related Salesforce functionality.
  • Experience creating, managing, and debugging Apex triggers and SOQL queries.
  • Experience resolving data and processing issues.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with internal and external partner systems.
  • Understanding of Salesforce security models, including permission sets and profiles.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
  • Experience delivering technical solutions in an Agile project management environment.

Required Certifications

  • Salesforce ADM201 Certification.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) Certification.
  • At least one Salesforce Developer certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Microsoft Access data.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers, including client technical staff.
  • Experience with multiple Salesforce platforms and products.
  • Experience with third-party integration platforms that interface with Salesforce.
  • Experience with cloud computing infrastructures and processing models, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Salesforce.
  • Experience working with Public Sector clients.
  • Additional Salesforce certifications.
