Kforce has a client that is seeking an Associate Software Engineer in Juno Beach, FL.
Summary:
We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer (AI-Native/Full Stack) to join a modern, AI-first development team. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer who enjoys building web applications, developing APIs, and leveraging AI-assisted coding tools to deliver high-quality software. You will work closely with experienced engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using modern technologies and development practices.
Responsibilities:
* Associate Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern frontend frameworks such as Next.js or Angular
* Build and integrate RESTful APIs to support application functionality
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
* Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Devin AI, or similar technologies to enhance productivity and code quality
* Participate in code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives
* As an Associate Software Engineer, you will contribute to software deployment, monitoring, and support activities
* Follow modern software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD processes
* Continuously learn and adapt to emerging technologies in an AI-driven development environment
REQUIREMENTS:
* 0-5 years of software engineering experience, including internships, co-ops, academic projects, or personal projects
* Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs
* Experience developing web applications using Next.js or Angular
* Experience with Git and modern version control workflows
* Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Devin AI, or similar platforms
* Understanding of software testing principles and development best practices
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new technologies quickly
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
* Exposure to Agile development methodologies
* Experience building or contributing to full-stack applications

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
