Description We are looking for a Technical Writer / Training Specialist to support the development of learning materials and deliver effective instruction for a utility billing platform. The ideal person will combine strong facilitation skills with the ability to translate system processes into easy-to-follow guides and engaging training experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and gather training requirements
- Create user guides, job aids, process documentation, and training materials
- Develop customer-facing instructions for the billing portal
- Deliver live, onsite training sessions to groups
- Collaborate with internal teams on instructional videos and communications
- Support training and user readiness throughout implementation
Requirements - 3+ years of technical or systems training experience
- Experience with utility billing systems, customer information systems, or technical applications
- Direct VertexOne experience is highly preferred
- Strong writing, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PDF documentation
- SharePoint experience is preferred
