* In-house SME to administer, monitor, and maintain Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/CentOS) systems.
* Configure, secure, and optimize Linux services (systemd, SSH, Apache/Nginx, cron, etc.).
* Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to support enterprise applications.
* Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated system issues.
* Identify, research, and implement Linux and OpenShift solutions and applications.
* Provide support to IT staff for technical and configuration issues related to Linux systems.
* Manage Linux security administration in collaboration with the information security team.
* Stay current on all Linux and OpenShift changes, updates, and new releases and keep IT staff informed on forthcoming changes.
* Work with vendors and other departments as required to support applications and environments.
* Work closely with the IT team to provide end-user support and issue resolution.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging server tools and technologies.
* Create and maintain documentation for all Linux and OpenShift processes and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with security standards, patching schedules, and company policies.
* Participation in weekly on-call rotation to respond to after-hours issues.
* Coordinate with the rest of the IT team to meet the team objectives.
* Travel as needed to other data centers to meet business needs.
* Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality
* Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for extended periods of time.
* Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery
* Ability to lift 25 pounds.
