Job Title: AWS Data Engineer

Responsibilities
• Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Enterprise Risk Analytics applications within a financial services environment.
• Build and support cloud-based data solutions using AWS technologies, emphasizing reliable data processing, analytics, automation, and application performance.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to develop and enhance data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Support data transformation and analytics workloads, maintaining production-ready solutions.
• Apply Generative AI and automation capabilities to improve data engineering processes and operational efficiency.
Requirements
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services in data engineering environments.
• Experience developing and maintaining data solutions using Amazon Redshift.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, including ETL jobs and data transformation workflows.
• Strong programming skills in Python for data processing, scripting, and automation.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, data transformations, and performance optimization.
• Experience developing and supporting ETL/data pipelines for analytics applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
• Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and their application to data engineering or automation use cases.
• Experience automating data engineering processes, workflows, and operational tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support data applications in enterprise production environments.
• Experience working with financial services, risk analytics, or similarly regulated data environments is preferred.
• Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
