Project Engineer to provide technical leadership for large-scale power generation projects. This
direct hire opportunity offers the chance to work cross-functionally with engineering, project management, construction, and subcontractor teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate engineering activities for power generation and industrial energy projects.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, suppliers, engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, engineering standards, industry codes, and project specifications.
- Manage project schedules, technical deliverables, RFQs, commissioning plans, testing procedures, and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate engineering resources, subcontractors, and design teams to support project execution.
- Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and support successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with project management teams to achieve schedule, budget, quality, and performance goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- Experience leading engineering design efforts for power generation, utility, energy, EPC, or industrial infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in project coordination, technical leadership, and multi-discipline engineering teams.
- Experience with project scheduling tools, including Primavera P6, preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- PE License and/or PMP certification is a plus.
