Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Coordinator for a with a Major Financial Services Firm located in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 9+ month opportunity with option to go perm. This role requires 4 days on site a week.
Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications Position Overview: This role will support a fast-moving program focused on a platform replacement for a trust product. The Project Coordinator will work closely with an experienced Project Manager to drive day-to-day mechanics, including meeting management, tracking action items, preparing status materials, and maintaining documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to grow into a Project Manager role.
Key Responsibilities: - Support an experienced Project Manager with day-to-day project and program coordination
- Support meeting management and document meeting takeaways and action items
- Track and follow up on project activities and action items
- Support the creation of program status materials
- Create and maintain project documentation
- Use MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint to support project execution and reporting
- Coordinate across project activities and workstreams within a fast-moving environment
- Potentially take ownership of a smaller project or workstream while working alongside an experienced Project Manager
- Prepare effective first drafts of project materials that may be used in interactions with program leadership
- Work with primarily one Project Manager, with the possibility of supporting a second PM within the program
Primary Requirements: - Project coordination experience
- Experience supporting meeting management, meeting takeaways, and action-item follow-up
- Experience preparing project/program status information and project documentation
- Experience with MS Project
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Demonstrated drive, initiative, and willingness to dig into the work
- Ability to get up to speed quickly and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment
Desired Skills: - Financial services experience
- OnePlan experience
- Experience using Copilot or other AI productivity capabilities
- Experience taking ownership of a smaller project or workstream
- Interest in growing into a Project Manager role
