Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst - Remote position with an Agricultural Cooperative located in Inver Grove Heights, MN. This is a contract opportunity.
Compensation: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications Position Overview: This role will join the Information Technology group to provide support for the Energy Refineries, Pipelines and Terminals (RPT) business with a primary focus on the Accruent Meridian engineering document management solution. The ideal candidate will have strong technical experience with Meridian, excellent communication skills, and the ability to solve complex problems in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical application support and ownership for Accruent Meridian and other assigned RPT applications
- Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, test, enhance, and support Meridian, including document control, workflows, metadata, security, revisions, approvals, reporting, and integrations
- Support engineering and technical document management, including CAD drawings, drafting records, P&IDs, schematics, and controlled documents
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to understand needs, analyze processes, document requirements, and translate objectives into system specifications, user stories, and technical solutions
- Gather and refine requirements; coordinate development, QA, user acceptance testing, implementation, and post-production support
- Develop and maintain application documentation, support procedures, technical specifications, knowledge articles, process flows, and user-training materials
- Provide user training and support for Meridian and other assigned applications
- Lead or support incident, problem, change, and release-management activities; identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
- Drive continuous improvement in business processes, document-control practices, application configuration, support processes, and error management
- Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and business partners to deliver projects, enhancements, integrations, and operational support
- Ensure secondary support resources are identified, documented, and trained for assigned applications
- Support business-case development for new functionality or enhancements, including cost-benefit and risk-impact considerations
- Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned
Primary Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent years of training, work experience and education)
- 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with Accruent Meridian, including administration, configuration, support, implementation, or enhancement activities
- Experience managing engineering documentation and CAD drawings/drafting records, including document revisions, approvals, workflows, metadata, and controlled-document practices
- 4+ years of Information Technology and IT Business Systems Analysis experience to include the following:
- Requirements definition
- Business process definition
- Strong documentation
- Development and support of integrated business applications
- Implementation and support of applications
- End-to-end IT coordination and project support experience
Desired Skills: - Experience working with Grain, Energy or Agronomy business applications
- General knowledge of system development methodologies
- Knowledge of importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts
- Experience with Microsoft development platforms including DevOps
- Understanding of the organization's goals and objectives and how technology solutions impact the organization
- Business Analysis and/or Project Management certification
