Summary: The HR Business Partner for IT is responsible for providing comprehensive HR functional support to the IT organization. This role involves managing a variety of HR functions such as recruiting, performance management, employee relations, and developing HR policies and communication programs, specifically tailored to the IT sector.
Responsibilities:
- Provide recruiting support, including college recruiting, and maintain accurate employee personnel records.
- Consult on performance management and organizational/personnel issues.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs and address employee and labor relations issues, including AAP and EEO matters.
- Assess training needs, design, and present training programs.
- Conduct grievance and arbitration investigations and assist in labor contract administration and negotiations.
- Interact with department heads, supervisors, and employees on HR-related issues, including personnel policies and procedures.
- Develop and administer enterprise-wide HR policies and maintain employee communication programs.
- Work independently or as a project team member on complex projects in the IT environment.
- Coach junior HR staff as needed.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor''s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of related experience in HR and IT.
- Intermediate professional level experience, with the ability to work independently on complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of the IT industry and business functions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
- Experience in developing HR policies and conducting training programs.
