A financial services organization in Pensacola, Florida, is seeking an IT Asset Management Specialist to support hardware asset management, inventory control, warehousing, distribution, and secure disposal operations.
About the Opportunity:
Responsibilities:
Receive, identify, and register IT equipment and other technology assets in the asset management system
Maintain accurate asset records, including tag numbers, serial numbers, model details, and purchase order information
Support on-site and off-site warehousing, storage coordination, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities
Coordinate equipment distribution, shipment tracking, delivery logistics, and vendor communications
Manage secure disposal workflows, including media handling, documentation, and compliance with applicable procedures
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in IT asset management, hardware asset lifecycle operations, inventory control, warehouse operations, or IT logistics
Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow, including asset tracking, ticket management, task closure, and dashboard development
Experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management Professional (HAM Pro)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
Knowledge of secure IT asset disposal, data-bearing component removal, and applicable NIST guidance
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and vendor coordination abilities
Desired Skills:
Experience developing dashboards and reports in ServiceNow for inventory and operational performance tracking
Experience coordinating IT equipment shipments and specialized delivery services
Familiarity with IT asset disposition, recycling, and buyback programs
Experience with physical warehouse operations and material handling equipment
Ability to recommend process improvements for asset tracking and warehouse efficiency
