What are we looking for?The
Engineering Technician II (Electrical) is responsible for providing technical support for engineering staff, including performing duties related to routine testing, maintenance, or clean-up.

- Prepare and set up test samples and test equipment.
- Operate equipment and perform testing in accordance with approved test plan.
- Obtain and record test data in accordance with standards.
- Perform calculation and analysis of test data.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
- Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
- May make recommendations regarding the interpretation and applicability for specific test standards.
- May communicate with clients regarding general project inquiries, updates, etc.
- May assist with test plan creation and/or method development.
- May adapt procedures and equipment to meet department needs.
- May prepare project files for compliance with operating procedures.
- Assist with training entry level technicians.
- May draft test reports.
- Perform other work as required.
The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:- High School Diploma or GED
- 1.5+ years of experience

- Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
- Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
- Ability to use basic shop equipment and various hand tools
- Ability to review, understand, and convey technical information in an effective manner
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions
- Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats
- Must be customer focused and quality driven
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to travel, up to 15%
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:- 2 year technical degree in Electronic Engineering Technology.
- 2 years of experience in electrical testing environment
- Intermediate level of electrical network analysis
