Job Description
The AI Transformation Architect will serve as a senior strategic and technical lead within the Expert Services AI Practice. The role focuses on helping enterprise organizations adopt AI across their operating models.
The position combines AI strategy, solution architecture, customer advisory, governance, adoption, and value realization. The architect will lead customer engagements from initial transformation planning and use-case definition through architecture design and ongoing adoption.
Responsibilities
AI Strategy and Transformation Advisory
• Lead enterprise AI transformation engagements from opportunity identification and business case development through operating model design and value realization.
• Advise C-suite and senior stakeholders on AI strategy, prioritization, transformation roadmaps, maturity, and risk considerations.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, current-state assessments, and future-state planning sessions.
• Define AI-enabled target operating models, including process redesign, workforce impact analysis, and governance structures.
Solution Architecture and Delivery Leadership
• Design end-to-end solution architectures using Now Assist, AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, AI Control Tower, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Knowledge Graphs, Agent-to-Agent (A2A), and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Lead scoping and solution design for complex, multi-workload AI engagements.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, technically sound, and connected to customer business outcomes.
• Provide hands-on architecture leadership during pilot and early delivery phases.
• Establish patterns and standards that can be used by broader delivery teams.
• Develop reference architectures, deployment patterns, transformation playbooks, and industry-specific use-case catalogs.
AI Governance, Risk and Responsible AI
• Define AI governance frameworks covering data stewardship, model risk, bias controls, audit trails, and compliance requirements.
• Help customers implement responsible AI practices that follow regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Work with AI Control Tower capabilities to establish monitoring, observability, and continuous optimization after deployment.
Adoption, Enablement and Change Management
• Lead AI adoption strategies, including readiness assessments, stakeholder engagement, AI literacy programs, and change communications.
• Define adoption KPIs and value realization metrics.
• Track outcomes and provide recommendations for continued optimization and expansion.
• Coach customer teams to build internal AI capability and reduce long-term dependency on external resources.
• Monitor adoption, usage, and value realization after deployment and recommend actions for risk mitigation and growth.
Practice Development and Thought Leadership
• Work with Sales, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Platform, and Product teams to support AI advisory throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Build and maintain industry-specific AI advisory playbooks, use-case catalogs, value models, governance templates, and deployment patterns.
• Contribute to white papers, reference architectures, best-practice guides, customer briefings, and AI-related forums.
• Support pre-sales activities by qualifying opportunities, helping shape proposals, and presenting transformation plans to executive buyers.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in management consulting, enterprise architecture, or a senior technology advisory role.
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or enterprise-scale digital transformation.
• Strong ServiceNow domain knowledge, including Now Assist, Generative AI Skills / Skill Kit, AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, AI Control Tower, RAG, Knowledge Graphs, A2A, and MCP.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
• Experience designing and managing complex AI or digital transformation engagements involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with use-case definition, business case development, integrations, data strategy, governance, and operational adoption.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data quality, knowledge management, integrations, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to explain technical and business value clearly to C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments, manage ambiguity, and adjust consulting deliverables based on customer maturity.
• Broad familiarity with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, FSM, HRSD, and App Engine.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification is desirable.
• AI/ML certifications such as AWS Machine Learning Specialty, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, or equivalent are desirable.
• Experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, Public Sector, Manufacturing, or Retail is highly desirable.
• Experience using AI tools to improve work processes, support decision-making, automate workflows, or generate useful insights is expected.
