Job Description

We are looking for an experienced BESS Project Manager to lead utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from early development through construction readiness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, renewable energy, engineering, construction, financial planning, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Lead pre-construction planning and development of utility-scale BESS projects.
Coordinate engineering, procurement, estimating, and construction teams.
Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and financial feasibility.
Support contract negotiations, including EPC and engineering services.
Coordinate permitting, environmental approvals, land acquisition, and grid interconnection.
Collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and executive leadership.
Present project progress, financial models, and risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure smooth handover of projects to construction teams.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of project management experience;
Experience in engineering, construction, infrastructure, or project development.
Strong project planning, budgeting, contract management, and stakeholder communication skills.
Renewable energy experience, particularly BESS, solar, wind, or utility-scale energy projects, is highly desirable.
Experience with permitting, regulatory requirements, EPC contracts, or grid interconnection is an advantage.
