We''re hiring a hands-on BlueCard Testing and 27X EDI SME to lead end-to-end testing for a large-scale BCBS implementation — this is not a test-lead-only role; you''ll be building scenarios, executing tests, analyzing results, and mentoring the broader testing team (onshore and offshore).
What you''ll do:
Design and execute test scenarios for 270/271, 276/277, 278, and MTC processing; validate BlueCard Home/Host claim processing against BCBSA companion guides; perform end-to-end testing across HRP, ITS, SF Processing, EDW, and downstream reporting; lead defect analysis and root cause investigation.
What you need:
- 7+ years healthcare payer experience, 5+ years with BlueCard/BCBS implementations
- 7+ years hands-on testing experience (test planning, design, execution, defect management)
- Strong 270/271, 276/277, 278 EDI transaction expertise
- HRP, ITS, and SQL experience a plus
- Prior consulting/managed services experience preferred
