Job Responsibilities
  • Review the requirements and come up with positive as well as negative test scenarios/headers to verify explicit as well as implicit product specifications
  • Develop and execute test procedures/test cases based on identified test scenarios/headers
  • Develop and execute test scripts for achieving planned test automation
  • Perform white box testing wherever necessary
  • Analyse/debug problems/issues faced during the project
  • Assist seniors in test optimization efforts to arrive at optimum test scope
  • Participate in advanced development on Test Automation
  • Record and share technical knowledge and experience gained
  • Follow organization's software testing processes and procedures
  • Support seniors/leader to ensure that the project milestone deadlines are met
  • Support development leader on estimation and risk identification for the assigned work
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams for successful project completion

Skills Required
  • Expertise with software testing fundamentals
  • Good understanding of with 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers
  • Experience with analog as well as digital electronic schematics, circuit boards, component datasheets
  • Domain knowledge of residential HVAC systems.
  • Sound analytical skills and debugging capabilities
  • Excellent understanding of various wired protocols like UART, I2C, SPI,
  • Familiarity with wireless protocols like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, TCP/IP
  • Experience with tools like Bugzilla, TestLink, ReviewBoard etc.
  • Basic understanding of programming and languages like C, C++
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability of lateral thinking
  • Experience with different sniffing tools will be preferred
  • ISTQB Foundation certification will be preferred
  • knowledge/Experience of LabVIEW will be an added advantage

Experience
1 to 3 years of experience in embedded software testing

Education
B.E./M.Sc./M.E./M.Tech

Discipline
