Job description:
An HR Data Analyst collects, cleans, and interprets workforce data to help company leaders make smart choices about hiring, retention, pay, and daily operations. This role bridges the gap between raw human resources data and business strategy by turning numbers into clear reports and dashboards.
Core Responsibilities:
· Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather employee metrics from payroll, applicant systems, and surveys, then fix errors to ensure data quality.
· Reporting and Dashboards: Build visual dashboards to track key metrics like turnover, time-to-hire, and employee satisfaction.
· Trend Analysis: Study workforce patterns to figure out why employees leave or how to improve team productivity.
· Process Improvement: Recommend data-backed changes to make recruiting, onboarding, and training run smoother.
· Compliance and Security: Protect private employee information and help create accurate regulatory reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Education: A bachelor's degree in business, statistics, human resources, or a related field.
· Technical Tools: Strong skill in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
· HR Knowledge: Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) and basic employment practices.
· Communication: Ability to explain complex data clearly to managers who do not have a technical background.
· Discretion: High level of trust and care when handling sensitive, personal employee data.
· Exposure and hands on experience with latest AI tools like Claude, Cursor
