Business Analyst / Project Manager – Mosaic
Location: Remote

Candidate Pay Range: $43-50/Hr on W2
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to support the Mosaic banking initiative, with a focus on requirements gathering, process design, user story development, and supporting development and testing activities across customer onboarding, account origination, and servicing functions.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in a banking or financial services environment and be comfortable collaborating with business stakeholders, product teams, technology teams, developers, testers, and other cross-functional partners.
This role will be responsible for translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories while supporting the full delivery lifecycle from discovery and requirements through development, testing, and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in business and stakeholder requirements-gathering sessions.
- Facilitate discussions to understand current-state processes, business needs, and future-state requirements.
- Create detailed business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Translate complex banking processes into clear and actionable requirements for development teams.
- Support process design and workflow documentation across onboarding, origination, and servicing.
- Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, and project managers.
- Clarify requirements and resolve questions throughout development and testing cycles.
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, and solution discussions.
- Support QA and UAT activities, including test scenario development, requirement validation, defect clarification, and issue resolution.
- Identify process gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure requirements maintain traceability through development and testing.
- Create process flows, business rules, workflow diagrams, and supporting documentation as required.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate proposed solutions against business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Support multiple workstreams and prioritize requirements based on business impact and project priorities.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, or related role.
- Strong experience in banking or financial services.
- Proven experience gathering and documenting complex business requirements.
- Hands-on experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business rules.
- Experience supporting requirements through development, QA, UAT, and implementation.
- Strong understanding of customer onboarding, account origination, and/or banking servicing processes.
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.
- Ability to manage multiple requirements and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Mosaic or similar banking platforms.
- Experience with consumer and commercial/business deposit products.
- Experience with account opening/origination platforms.
- Experience with KYC, CIP, beneficial ownership, and compliance screening.
- Experience with banking servicing platforms.
- Experience working with fiduciary, escrow, government, court/bankruptcy, or retirement products.

- Experience supporting large-scale banking transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar requirements/project management tools.
