Business Analyst - Commercial Bill Pay Transformat

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in New York, NY that is seeking a Business Analyst to support a strategic Commercial Bill Pay transformation initiative. The organization is evaluating and transitioning from its current bill pay provider and requires a Business Analyst to help define business requirements, evaluate vendor capabilities, and support the development of a future-state bill pay strategy.

Summary:
This role will partner with business, product, operations, and technology teams to gather requirements, document processes, create user stories, and support solution design, vendor selection, development, testing, and implementation efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial banking, treasury management, payments, or bill pay platforms and be comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Responsibilities:
* Lead requirements gathering sessions with business and technology stakeholders
* Document current-state and future-state bill pay processes
* Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements
* Support vendor evaluation and selection activities
* Analyze and assess bill pay platform capabilities and gaps
* Define target-state business processes, workflows, and operating models
* Partner with product, operations, and technology teams to align requirements with strategic objectives
* Support solution design, testing, implementation, and change management activities
* Assist with requirements clarification throughout the development lifecycle

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
* Experience with commercial banking, treasury management, payments, or bill pay solutions
* Experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria in Agile environments
* Experience supporting testing, UAT, and implementation activities
* Strong requirements gathering and process-mapping skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to analyze vendor capabilities and support technology selection efforts

Preferred Experience:
* Commercial Bill Pay platforms
* Digital banking or treasury management products
* Vendor evaluation and platform migration initiatives
* Experience with iPay, Jack Henry (JHA), or similar payment solutions
* Banking or financial services industry experience
* Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, and Agile delivery methodologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
