Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Lead to drive end-to-end solution design, implementation, and support across Sales & Distribution (SD), with a strong focus on integration with Production Planning (PP). The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in automotive or JIT - driven supply chain processes, including forecasting, delivery scheduling, EDI, and scheduling agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP SD solution design, configuration, implementation, and support across supply chain processes.
- Configure and support Sales Scheduling Agreements, including scheduling agreement types, delivery schedules, and related processes.
- Implement and support Forecast (FRC) and Just-in-Time (JIT) delivery schedules.
- Manage and troubleshoot EDI/IDoc integrations, with strong knowledge of EDI 830 and 862 messages and associated IDoc transmissions.
- Provide expertise across core SAP Sales & Distribution processes, including order-to-delivery and scheduling agreement scenarios.
- Design and support seamless SAP SD integration with Production Planning (PP), ensuring accurate data flow between customer requirements and production planning.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
- Support unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, including preparation and execution of test scripts.
Technical & Integration Expertise
- Strong understanding of SAP SD configuration, particularly Sales Scheduling Agreements and delivery schedules.
- Deep knowledge of SD PP integration and data flows associated with customer scheduling requirements.
- Strong understanding of EDI/IDoc processing and troubleshooting, particularly EDI 830 and 862.
- Working knowledge of ABAP, with the ability to review and analyze custom programs, enhancements, BADIs, user exits, and related developments.
- Ability to identify integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate effectively with functional and technical teams.
Preferred Profile
An experienced SAP SD professional with strong functional and integration expertise who can independently lead solution delivery, work closely with business stakeholders, and coordinate with PP, ABAP, EDI, and other technical teams.
