Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help migrate an end-of-life third-party application to a modern, internally built solution. The role is front-end heavy and requires strong experience with React, Java, and Drools, along with backend and AI-assisted development experience.

Responsibilities

Design and develop features for the new internal application.
Build scalable and user-friendly React applications.
Develop backend services using Java, Node.js, and Python.
Work with Drools/business rules and workflow logic.
Collaborate with QA/SDET teams on acceptance criteria and automation testing.
Support basic DevOps activities, scheduled jobs, service accounts, and data flows.
Use AI tools effectively for coding, refactoring, testing, debugging, and code reviews.
Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements and drive delivery.

Required Skills

Strong Senior Full Stack Development experience.
Strong hands-on React experience.
Strong Java development experience.
Experience with Drools / BRMS / Business Rules.
Experience with Node.js and/or Python web services.
Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
Basic DevOps knowledge.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Hadoop ecosystem experience.
Legacy application modernization/migration experience.
Experience with mentoring and code quality initiatives.

Hadoop — approximately 10–15%
