Summary

A leading enterprise organization within the transportation and travel space is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a team focused on modernizing large-scale customer and operational platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work across Angular, Java, Spring Boot, cloud-native technologies, microservices, and distributed systems while contributing to products operating at significant scale.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys balancing hands-on development with architecture and technical leadership. The organization is investing heavily in cloud transformation, automation, platform reliability, and engineering excellence. The successful candidate will have a strong voice in technical decisions, help mentor other developers, and contribute to long-term modernization initiatives. Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong Java development experience
Experience building applications with Angular 17+ and TypeScript
Deep understanding of Spring and Spring Boot
Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
Cloud experience with AWS and/or Azure
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Experience with GitHub or Azure DevOps
Strong understanding of scalable application design
Experience working in Agile development environments
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desired Skills & Experience

LitElement 2.0 experience
Python and FastAPI development experience
GraphQL implementation experience
Event-driven architecture using Kafka
PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis experience
Test automation experience using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools
Airline or transportation industry experience
Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives

What You Will Be Doing

Designing and building scalable enterprise applications
Developing modern front-end applications using Angular
Creating and enhancing Java-based microservices
Participating in solution architecture and technical design
Improving system performance, resiliency, and reliability
Driving engineering best practices and code quality initiatives
Collaborating with product, architecture, and platform teams
Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical growth across the organization
