How you'll make an impact in this role- Own and optimize enterprise load balancing and application delivery platforms, ensuring the availability, performance, and resiliency of critical business applications.
- Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex Layer 4-7 traffic management and application delivery issues, leading root-cause analysis and restoring service in high-availability production environments.
- Drive continuous improvement across F5, Citrix ADC, and VMware AVI platforms through automation, optimization, application onboarding, and operational excellence initiatives.
What minimum requirements you'll needEducation:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional preferences we're seeking- 8-10+ years of experience in network engineering, with significant focus on load balancing and application delivery
- Proven experience operating in large-scale, enterprise environments
- Expert-level hands-on experience with:
- F5 BIG-IP platform
- Citrix NetScaler / ADC
- VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer (AVI)
- Strong expertise in:
- Layer 4-7 protocols (HTTP/S, TCP, UDP, SSL/TLS, DNS)
- Load balancing methods, persistence, and traffic steering
- SSL offloading and certificate management
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-tier application issues
- F5 certifications (CTS or higher)
- Citrix ADC certifications (CCA-N / CCP-N or higher)
- VMware NSX / AVI-related certifications
